Bankroll Staking

The House on Qupaca is player-owned. Anyone can deposit to participate in House profits, which are paid out in real time.

All our games are player vs House, where the "House" is a single decentralized staking pool. Anyone is free to deposit into the staking pool (regardless of whether you also play games or not).

When a player plays a game, they play against this staking pool House. If a player wins, their winngs are paid out from the House — in this case the House can shrink in the short-run. But when a player loses a game, their wager is captured, sent to the House and distributed as staking rewards, pro-rate, to everyone deposited in the House.

Because every game has a House edge, statistically over a large number of games the House will win more than it loses. This generates programmatic yield over time.

Currently, the Qupaca protocol itself monetizes through a transaction fee on every bet placed.
